JPS designs always build upon our previous designs, and the FX is proof of our never ending quest to be at the top of our art. The new Superconductor FX interconnects were designed from the ground up to be at the pinnacle of audio cable design. Borrowing critical pieces of our design engineering from our very expensive Kaptovator AC cord and latest R&D of our unique, patent-pending Alumiloy wire and annealing processes, the new FX interconnect are a new very flexible design. These are the absolute finest cables available in rejecting all forms of noise (including hum, radio frequency and electromagnetic interference) in any length , second only to our best Superconductor 2 line. JPS wrote the book long ago on noise rejection in audio (which is why EVERY cable company today mentions their cables supposed noise rejection ability), and FX takes the stand as our latest and most refined mid-priced cable. In combination with our special low DC dielectrics, FX allows for the effortless low level detail and clarity you've come to expect from JPS Labs, with near perfect balance from the lowest lows on up.

Its tightly twisted concentric conductor topology allows our proprietary and latest Alumiloy wire to be flexible but yet have the electrical properties near that of a solid wire, eliminating strand interaction and allowing greater bandwidth and dynamic range from our already excellent audio optimized conductor (click here for a sidebar on Alumiloy wire). Basically in making FX, we take our audio optimized Alumiloy wire, blanket each rope lay conductor in the highest quality materials all inside one of the finest shield topologies available (approx. -105 db noise rejection) with a cool purple outer jacket, and factory terminate, where the JPS name goes on, guaranteeing many years of musical enjoyment without the worry of becoming obsolete.

Also included with these new FX designs is what we call a 'controlled break-in response'. After years of studying the average break-in curves in thousands of systems from extensive feedback over the years, we've readjusted our dielectrics and conductor configurations in the FX cables to allow complete enjoyment right out of the box without the need for weeks of waiting for good sound! These cables strut their stuff like no other in the first few hours of playing, and as always only get better in time during their 'gentle break-in'.**
